Inspections require MINIMUM 24 hour notice.
Construction permits are required for all interior and exterior construction work on all structures. Homeowners should contact the Building Department for information on obtaining a permit prior to starting the project. A survey of the property and a zoning application are required before a permit can be issued for any exterior projects, or an expansion of a primary structure.
A zoning application must be submitted first to the Zoning official. The Zoning official will review the application; the survey must indicate your side yard setbacks. Submission of zoning application must be accompanied with a check in the amount of:

Once the Zoning application has been reviewed and once approved you may apply for a building application by submitting to the construction code official. If the application is denied than the applicant must seek approval from the Land Use Board.
